Touchtape is the brand name of a super strong hook-and-loop tape, similar to the more familiar Velcro® , but with a much stronger holding power. It is 100% nylon and will withstand all the harsh washing that your diapers will go through.

Hook is the rough half of the hook-and-loop closure. Generally speaking, you use two or three times as much loop as hook in a diaper, so we typically recommend buying in these proportions. (For example, a yard of hook and three yards of loop, which will generally be enough for approximately 6 diapers.)

Our Touchtape is available in two widths - 1 inch and 1.5 inches, which is appropriate for most diapers. It is sold by the yard. You will need both hook and loop.

Please note, Touchtape, like all hook and loop, is a woven fabric. It must be sewn down properly in order to function properly. We cannot be responsible for sewing errors.

Our elastic is a polyester blend that holds up extremely well in diapers. It is easier to sew with than the clear elastics that are available.

We offer 1/4 inch wide elastic, which is ideal for most diapering applications.

This elastic may be sewn on with a regular zig-zag stitch, or with a three-step zig-zag.

Fold-over Elastic (FOE) is great for binding cloth diapers or finishing edges on pants, tops, children's clothes, and underwear.

Our elastic is a really nice quality that holds up well in diapers. There is a fold line in the middle for easy folding.

We offer two widths of FOE. 1 inch wide elastic is wide enough to be easy for beginning FOE users. 1/2 inch wide is narrower, ideal for edging on clothing or good on diapers for more experienced FOE users.

This elastic may be sewn on with a regular zig-zag stitch, or with a three-step zig-zag.
